The Grayson Waller Effect
Grayson Waller opens his talk show, teasing a potential friendship with his scheduled guest, Kevin Owens. However, Austin Theory comes out first, dressed as Owens and wearing a KO shirt. They sit together as the crowd boos. Owens’ music hits and the real Kevin Owens walks out. He clarifies that his suspension ended that day, expecting Waller’s invite to be a peace offering to share a grilled cheese in catering. Waller admits Theory came out so they could mock Owens. Owens notes Theory is wearing shorts he hasn’t seen in months and threatens to punch them both simultaneously.
Waller accuses Owens of costing him his match against LA Knight two weeks prior. Owens warns that constantly mentioning someone’s name leads to consequences. Knightâs music hits, and he enters to a massive crowd reaction. Knight calls out Waller and Theory for getting caught talking about him and asserts that Waller will lose to him every time, regardless of whether Owens or Theory (“A-Town clown”) is in his corner.
When Waller suggests that he and Theory punch Owens and Knight at the same time, Owens and Knight preemptively attack, knocking Waller and Theory out of the ring.
