Ivar takes early control by punching Knight down, though Knight manages to escape a double underhook powerbomb attempt and counters with a DDT. After Ivar rolls outside, Knight keeps up the pressure with a baseball slide, repeatedly slams Ivar into the commentary table, and sends him ribs-first into the barricade. However, Ivar shifts the momentum by flapjacking Knight onto the barricade and following up with a heavy running crossbody block.
Following the commercial break, Knight fights through resistance on the top rope to execute a massive superplex on Ivar, securing a near fall as the crowd cheers. Knight continues his assault but struggles when his back gives out during a lift attempt. The two trade high-impact moves in response: Ivar executes a spinning World’s Strongest Slam, Knight answers with a shoulder tackle, and Ivar counters back with a double underhook powerbomb, all yielding near falls.
Knight regains his footing by dodging a corner charge from Ivar, landing a running knee and a powerslam, and dropping an elbow for another close count. As Knight stomps away at Ivar, Valhalla steps onto the apron to cause a distraction. Knight sidesteps an attack from Ivar, but his first attempt at his signature Blunt Force Trauma (BFT) is blocked, allowing Ivar to land a spin kick. Ivar then climbs the ropes for a Doomsault, but Knight dodges the splash and immediately hits the BFT to pick up the pinfall victory.
