The match begins with Carmelo Hayes landing right hands, but LA Knight quickly retaliates with a clothesline before throwing Hayes outside the ring. On the floor, Knight dominates by slamming Hayes’ head into the announce table and delivering a back body drop onto it.
Following a commercial break, Hayes regains momentum with a springboard right hand, though Knight kicks out of the pin attempt. Hayes climbs the top rope, but Knight trips him and ascends to the second rope for a suplex. Hayes manages to push him off to the mat. Knight recovers immediately with a clothesline, corners Hayes with a series of stomps, and connects with a running knee. Hayes counters a whip to the ropes with a superkick, followed by a facebuster, but Knight kicks out of another pin attempt.
The two trade chops in the center of the ring before Knight lands a bodyslam. Hayes dodges Knight’s attempted jumping elbow drop, but as Hayes rebounds off the ropes, Knight catches him with a pop-up powerslam and successfully connects with a jumping elbow drop. Knight then attempts his signature BFT. Hayes counters into a rollup while pulling Knight’s tights, but LA Knight swiftly reverses the rollup leverage to score the pinfall victory.
