LA Knight starts the match strong by bringing Santos Escobar down with a hip toss, an arm drag takedown, and an armbar. After launching Escobar into the ropes, Knight lands a sharp elbow to the face and climbs the second rope in the corner to rain down punches. However, Escobar turns the momentum by tripping Knight off the ropes and following up with a hard chop to the chest. He then executes a snap suplex and locks Knight into a modified sharpshooter, though Knight manages to reach the ropes to break the hold. Taking advantage of the situation, Escobar distracts the referee, allowing Elektra Lopez to strike Knight with a cheap shot before Escobar delivers a 619.
Following the commercial break, Knight begins a turnaround by leveling Escobar with a powerslam. Lopez steps back onto the ring apron to distract the referee once more, clearing the way for Logan Paul to run down and attempt a strike on Knight. Knight dodges the attack and clotheslines Paul off the apron. Although Escobar immediately capitalizes with a kick to Knight’s face and attempts his signature Phantom Driver, Knight escapes, lands on his feet, and plants Escobar with the BFT to earn the pinfall victory.
