The match opens with Seth Rollins and LA Knight circling each other before Knight goes on the attack. Rollins uses the ropes to create distance and sneaks in a cheap shot, targeting Knight’s injured ribs. Knight manages to counter with a back elbow, but his injured ribs prevent him from executing a suplex. Rollins attempts a Pedigree, which Knight counters into a Blunt Force Trauma (BFT) attempt, but Rollins pushes him away. Knight then tosses Rollins over the top rope with a back body drop, follows up with a baseball slide, and repeatedly strikes Rollins’ face against the commentary table. Knight caps off his assault by leaping off the table with a diving clothesline.
Following a commercial break, Rollins maintains control by applying a body grapevine. Although Knight fights out, Rollins halts his momentum with a gutbuster and a Frog Splash off the top rope, which results in a near-fall. A frustrated Paul Heyman looks on as Rollins taunts Knight. Knight recovers to block a punch, but Rollins kicks his midsection to set up a Stomp. Knight dodges the attempt, shifting the momentum with a series of moves: a clothesline, a neckbreaker, and a DDT. After taunting the crowd, Knight climbs the ropes and lands a diving elbow drop, but Rollins kicks out at two.

Knight continues his offense with stomps in the corner and attempts another BFT, but Rollins escapes to the apron. Rollins counters Knight by targeting his midsection and ascends to the top rope, but Knight interrupts him and sets up a superplex. Rollins initially punches Knight down, but Knight leaps right back up to try again. Rollins slides through the attempt and executes a Buckle Bomb. Knight avoids a subsequent Stomp and attempts a scoop slam, but his injured midsection gives out. Rollins delivers a superkick, follows up with a springboard senton splash, and attempts a Lionsault, landing on his feet when Knight moves out of the way. Upon landing, Rollins immediately clutches his knee in pain.
Seeing Rollins’ distress, Heyman checks on him while the referee restrains Knight. As a ringside doctor evaluates the situation, a panicked Rollins struggles to get back up. Using the ropes to pull himself to his feet, Rollins is immediately caught by Knight, who hits the BFT to secure a clean pinfall victory.
