The match begins in progress with LA Knight dominating Bron Breakker in the corner with a running knee, a swinging neckbreaker, and continuous pressure on the ropes. Breakker turns the momentum around using shoulder thrusts and a high-speed shoulder tackle, mocking Knight’s catchphrase before unleashing an overhead belly-to-belly throw. Stripping off his shirt, Breakker delivers a German suplex. Knight manages to fight back with jabs, a side leg sweep, and a clothesline that sends Breakker over the top rope. After landing a baseball slide and briefly taunting Paul Heyman at ringside, Knight is ambushed by Breakker, who drives him into the commentary table, the ring apron, and the steel steps.
Following a commercial break, Knight breaks out of a rear chin lock and scores a roll-up attempt. Though Breakker counters a neckbreaker by holding the ropes, Knight knocks him off during an attack. Breakker responds with a high-flying “Breakkensteiner” from the top rope for a near fall. Knight counters a Spear with a kick to the face and turns Breakker’s military press attempt into a DDT.
With instructions shouting from Heyman, both competitors exchange strikes in the center of the ring. Knight ducks Breakker’s wild swings, landing a diving clothesline, a neckbreaker, and a reverse DDT following a brief misstep. Knight attempts a springboarding maneuver off the ropes, but Breakker dodges and responds with a clothesline. Knight recovers quickly, landing a boot to stem Breakker’s momentum for another close count.
Knight takes control at the turnbuckle, jumping to the top rope to execute a superplex on Breakker, followed by his signature taunt and a diving elbow drop. As Knight prepares to finish the match, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins suddenly runs down to ringside. Knight chases Rollins around the floor, leaving him open to a devastating Spear on the outside from Breakker. Breakker rolls Knight back into the ring and, amid growing CM Punk chants from the crowd, hits a final Spear to pin Knight for the victory.
