The match opens with all competitors surrounding Seth Rollins, but Solo Sikoa and El Grande Americano attack him first before Sikoa eliminates Rollins over the top rope. Penta, LA Knight, and Andrade turn on Sikoa, using a neckbreaker and a slingshot dropkick to wear him down, followed by Knight striking Americano with a ladder. Rollins re-enters to brawl with Andrade and Sikoa, leading to high-flying dives outside the ring as Andrade hits a somersault plancha and Penta wipes out the field with a top-rope cross-body block.
Americano takes control by clearing the field with a ladder and leaning a huge ladder against the ring post. Penta counters with a headbutt, rolls Americano into the ring, and unloads chops, but Rollins interrupts Penta’s offense with a ladder attack. Rollins continues his momentum by cutting off Andrade’s leap with a ladder before setting up a smaller ladder to climb. Americano halts him with a torture rack slam onto the ladder. Sikoa breaks up Americano’s climb, slamming him into a ladder positioned in the corner. Knight briefly gains the upper hand on Sikoa, countering a Samoan Drop into a neckbreaker on the ladder and an elbow drop before sending Sikoa outside.
A chaos-filled multi-man climb ensues as Knight, Penta, Rollins, Americano, and Sikoa all set up or scale ladders in the ring. A series of knockdowns and knock-outs follow, including Andrade sliding off the ropes, Rollins knocking Americano’s ladder over, and Sikoa dropping Knight with a Samoan Spike while Rollins hits Penta with a Pedigree.
Rollins and Sikoa face off, exchanging superkicks and momentum until Rollins counters Sikoa with a drop-toe-hold into a corner ladder, followed by a Stomp. As Rollins attempts to climb, Americano traps him upside down on the ladder with an Ankle Lock. A sequence of high-impact moves follows: Andrade hits Americano with a sunset flip powerbomb off the ladder, and Penta hits Rollins with a suplex off the ladder into the corner ladder.
Penta and Andrade battle at the top of the ladder, leading to Andrade constructing a ladder bridge to the second turnbuckle. After cutting off Penta, Andrade attempts a suplex on the bridge, but Penta counters into a wild Mexican Destroyer onto the ladder bridge. Sikoa breaks up Penta’s advantage, but Knight intervenes, driving Sikoa into the barricade and building a second ladder bridge from the apron to the barricade. After countering Knight with a modified Code Red, Penta climbs again, only for Americano to hit sequential German suplexes on Penta, Rollins, Knight, and Sikoa.
Americano introduces the “Fireball ladder” and uses a helicopter spin to knock down every competitor. As Americano and Penta climb, Americano secretly inserts a metal plate into his mask. Knight catapults Americano into a leaning ladder; Americano uses it to vault across the ring and headbutt Penta off the ladder using his loaded mask. Knight immediately scales the ladder and hits Americano with a Kamikaze from the top.
Rollins, Andrade, and Penta clash around the Fireball ladder until Rollins signals for backup. “Big” Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker invade the ring, leveling the field by spearing Americano and Knight on the floor and hitting Andrade with a Tsunami. United States Champion Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo enter the fray to fight off Breakker and Reed. After Fatu cleans house with a pop-up Samoan Drop and a suicide dive, he helps Sikoa set up a ladder. However, Fatu turns on Sikoa, shouting “I HATE YOU!” before hitting Sikoa with a superkick, a moonsault, and a Spinning Solo off the apron through the ladder bridge.
With the first Fireball ladder damaged, Rollins slides a second Fireball ladder into the ring and begins to scale it. Knight pulls him down and tries for the Blunt Force Trauma, but Rollins counters, slams Knight off the ladder, and hits him with a Stomp. Rollins climbs the Fireball ladder, unhooks the briefcase, and wins the Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the second time in his career.
