Kofi Kingston and LA Knight start the match aggressively, trading shoves before locking up. Knight initially powers Kingston into the corner, but Kingston counters, executing a suplex into a neckbreaker. Knight recovers quickly with a back elbow, only for Kingston to regain control using a kitchen sink knee to the midsection and an overhead wristlock. After breaking free with a short-arm clothesline, Knight is sent over the top rope with a flapjack. He turns the tables at ringside, dropping Kingston out of the ring and bouncing his head off the barricade. Despite distractions from Xavier Woods, Kingston retaliates by dropkicking Knight off the apron, driving his face into the post, and connecting with a splash.

Following the commercial break, Kingston maintains pressure with a diving tomahawk chop from the top rope. Kingston and Woods capitalize on referee distractions to land cheap shots, but Knight continues to fight back with body blows. During a sequence near the ropes, Kingston accidentally absorbs a legitimate knee strike to the head from Knight, leaving him visibly dazed at ringside.
Knight takes full advantage of the weakened Kingston, tossing him back into the ring and landing a slingshot shoulder tackle followed by a jumping neckbreaker. After taking a moment to knock Woods off the apron with a diving clothesline, Knight dodges Kingston’s roll-up attempt with his feet on the ropes. Kingston attempts to launch off the top rope and follow up with Trouble in Paradise, but Knight evades both moves. Kingston counters a back suplex, but Knight instantly answers with Blunt Force Trauma to secure the pinfall victory.
