The wrestling match begins with LA Knight landing a running knee to The Miz’s face in the corner, though Miz manages to kick out of the early pin attempt. As Knight setups for the BFT, Miz counters by throwing him throat-first onto the top rope. Miz takes control with a kick to the back of the head and a neckbreaker, but Knight kicks out of both pin attempts. Knight fights back with punches, sends Miz to the outside with a baseball slide into the announce table, and momentarily confronts Nakamura before Miz slams him into the ring steps.
Following a commercial break, Knight lands a neckbreaker and an elbow drop, but Miz kicks out of the cover. Miz trips Knight off the second rope, delivering a flatliner and later a DDT, though Knight escapes pinfall attempts after both moves. As Miz charges in, LA Knight counters with the BFT. Knight then climbs the second rope, leaps to the third, and executes a flying elbow drop to secure the pinfall victory.
