LA Knight and Braun Strowman face off in a match for the championship, with Knight briefly gaining an upper hand before Strowman overwhelms him with a drop and a running attack. Strowman takes control by delivering a big boot on the outside, leveling Knight to the floor.
After returning to the ring, Strowman attempts to mount the turnbuckle for punches, but Knight counters and turns the tide. Despite Knight’s attempt at a sunset flip, Strowman halts the momentum, hurling the champion into the corner with a heavy hammer throw and dragging him back outside to slam him into the barricade and ring apron.
Knight recovers back inside the ring, turning the tables with a bulldog to send Strowman down to the canvas. The two exchange strikes on their feet until Knight manages to drive Strowman into the corner and hit a German suplex, followed by an elbow drop for a two-count. As Knight sets up for his BFT finisher, Strowman fights it off and throws the champion out of the ring once more. Strowman charges outside for his signature Strowman Express attack, only to collide directly with Jacob Fatu, prompting the referee to disqualify the match.
