The match begins as the crowd chants “LA Knight.” After an exchange of offense, including a back elbow and a flip out of a sleeper hold, LA Knight gains momentum with a back body drop, corner stomps, and a running knee to Tama Tonga’s face. However, interference from Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa on the ring apron distracts LA Knight, allowing Tama to attack him from behind and send him shoulder-first into the ring post to the outside.
Returning from a commercial break, Tama hits a clothesline in the ring before attempting a splash from the top rope, which misses when LA Knight dodges. LA Knight rallies with right hands and a flying clothesline, taking the fight outside where he slams Tama’s face into the ring apron before returning him to the ring.
LA Knight continues his assault with a pop-up powerslam and a jumping elbow. As he prepares to execute the BFT, Loa pulls Tama out of the ring to safety. LA Knight counters with a baseball slide onto Loa, throws Tama back into the ring, and briefly taunts Solo on the outside. After LA Knight re-enters the ring, Tama capitalizes on the distraction, slamming LA Knight face-first onto the mat and pinning him to secure the victory.
