LA Knight kicked off the match with strong momentum as the crowd chanted his name. He quickly took control over Angel, executing a headlock, a shoulder tackle, and a clothesline. Knight maintained his offensive pressure by hitting a swinging neckbreaker that sent Angel tumbling to the outside. Following him out, Knight slammed Angel headfirst into the ring apron before returning to the ring to clothesline him back outside. Once Angel was back in the ring, Knight delivered a suplex and attempted the first cover of the match, but Angel managed to kick out.
Following a commercial break, Humberto provided a distraction that allowed Angel to strike LA Knight with a right hand. However, Knight swiftly turned the tables, countering off the ropes with a flying clothesline. He then landed a powerslam, followed up with a signature jumping elbow, and sealed the victory by executing the BFT to secure the pinfall.
