Action continues with Andrade delivering a kick to Knight’s face followed by a series of chops in the corner. Andrade applies a rear chin lock, but Knight fights out, sends Andrade to the ropes, and drops him with a back elbow. After Andrade rolls out to recover, he pulls Knight out and attempts to slam him into the commentary table. Knight reverses the momentum, bouncing Andrade’s head off the table multiple times. Back in the ring, Knight connects with a slingshot shoulder tackle for a two-count.
Knight gains control in the corner with shoulder thrusts, but Andrade manages to push him out onto the ring apron. Following a brief struggle on the apron, Andrade forces Knight into the ring post, knocking the champion to the floor. Andrade then climbs the turnbuckle and performs a moonsault over the ring post onto Knight at ringside. After rolling Knight back into the ring, Andrade scores a two-count, follows up with stomps, and lands a back suplex for another near fall.
Andrade re-applies a rear chin lock and neutralizes Knight’s attempt to fight back with a kitchen sink knee to the midsection. Andrade trash-talks and stomps Knight in the corner, but Knight retaliates with a clothesline. Andrade manages to flip out of a back suplex attempt and later connects with a leaping forearm, followed by a kip-up. Andrade charges for double knees in the corner, but Knight dodges and executes a DDT for a near fall.
Building momentum, Knight delivers stomps, a knee to the face in the corner, and a leaping neckbreaker for a two-count. Knight attempts a back superplex, but Andrade fights him off with an elbow to the jaw. Andrade dives for a moonsault, lands on his feet as Knight moves, and instantly lands a standing moonsault for a two-count. Andrade then hits his running double knees, but Knight kicks out at two.
Andrade escapes a suplex attempt with a jawbreaker, but Knight catches him on a charge with a powerslam, followed by a diving elbow drop from the top rope. Knight attempts the BFT, which Andrade counters into a roll-up and a snap back elbow for consecutive near falls. Andrade goes to the top rope, but Knight attempts to intercept him. Knight slips twice while trying to climb the ropes, fueling his frustration. Andrade attempts a missile dropkick on the grounded champion, but Knight steps out of the way and hits the BFT to secure the pinfall victory and retain his title.
