AJ Styles initiates a brawl with LA Knight during his entrance, but Knight quickly turns the momentum by sending Styles over the top rope and executing a baseball slide into the commentary table. After repeatedly slamming Styles against the table to the crowd’s cheers, Knight brings the action back into the ring. Styles seizes control by targeting Knight’s leg with multiple leg breakers, systematically wearing him down. Despite the pain, Knight kicks Styles away and counters a subsequent kneebreaker attempt into a roll-up for a two-count.
Knight rallies with stomps in the corner, a running knee to the face, and a springboard tornado DDT, coming close to a pinfall. Knight attempts a superplex, but Styles slips underneath, executes an electric chair drop onto the turnbuckle, and follows up with a German suplex and a swinging facebuster. Styles attempts a top-rope maneuver, but Knight cuts him off, biting Styles before being hit with an eye rake. Knight recovers instantly, taking Styles down with a massive avalanche inverted German suplex off the top turnbuckle for a near fall.
Styles turns the tide again by locking Knight in the Calf Crusher, forcing Knight to drag himself to the bottom rope to break the submission. Taking the fight outside, Styles repeatedly attacks Knight’s leg using the ring post. Knight counters by pulling Styles’ face into the post, stumbles to his feet, and exposes the concrete floor by peeling back the ringside mat. Knight attempts a powerbomb on the concrete, but Styles counters with a back body drop, leaving Knight sprawling on the exposed floor. Styles re-enters the ring, hoping for a count-out win, but Knight scrambles back inside just before the count of ten.
A sneering Styles tries to capitalize with a springboard 450 splash, but Knight counters by lifting his knees. Both men trade heavy right hands before Styles drops Knight with a Pele Kick. A high-tempo sequence follows as Knight dodges a Phenomenal Forearm, Styles escapes a Blunt Force Trauma (BFT), and Knight wriggles free from a Styles Clash setup. As Styles leaps onto the top rope for another Phenomenal Forearm, Knight shakes the ropes to knock him off balance, capitalizing immediately with a BFT to secure the victory.
